Av. Pres. Figueroa Alcorta entre Jerónimo Salguero y San Martín de Tours

The Museum of Latin American Art (MALBA) is one of the most interesting in the City: it houses the Costantini Foundation art collection, with approximately 400 works (paintings, sculptures, engravings, photographs, and objects) by great Latin American artists of the 20th century . The modern building that houses the Malba, clad in limestone and with large surfaces of glass and steel, was created in 1997 by the Atelman-Fourcade-Tapia studio in Cordoba, winners of an international competition whose jury was composed of the famous architects Norman Foster , César Pelli and Mario Botta.

Malba is a dynamic and participative cultural space in which temporary exhibitions of various kinds are presented (in many occasions together with other museums around the world, international collections and related foundations) and samples of contemporary Argentine and Latin American art. In addition, it has an important cinema program and a cinematheque that grows monthly through the acquisition and rescue of essential films from the history of cinema. The museum also has a Literature area through which it conducts meetings with writers, courses, seminars, literary talks and book presentations.
