With its 350 hectares, the Ecological Reserve is the largest green space in the City of Buenos Aires and one of the preferred walks for walking, cycling, jogging, hiking or spending the day with the family during the weekend.
An unbeatable proposal to get to know the native flora and fauna in the city. Forests, grasslands, lagoons and marshes are part of this unique space, declared in 2005 as a Ramsar site for its global importance as a wetland.
The Reserve is part of the Ecoruta of the Río de la Plata, a circuit of more than 100 km in length that connects the green spaces and protected areas of the AMBA and its surroundings. Among them, the Delta del Paraná Biosphere Reserve, the Ciervo de los Pantanos National Park and the Municipal Natural Reserve of Pilar stand out.
